Virtual: Functional Movement

This is a LIVE ZOOM class. A LINK to join will be sent with your reservation confirmation. Please enter room 5- 10 minutes before class and let the teacher know what part of your body is calling out for attention.
These physical fitness classes are a great compliment to use WITH our softer yoga offerings.
This is a semi-active class, appropriate for beginner-to-intermediate students who can easily move from floor to standing and are able to practice on their hands and knees.

Functional Movement is a great class for the “fit-keeping-fit” who need variety and a safer practice. It is a safer door from “yoga” to “physical fitness.”

Sean is a fitness expert that comes from a weight training and cross-fit background. His approach is anatomy and physiologically based. His presentation is much less intimidating than many fitness coaches due to his AGW training.

A caring coach with a focus on teaching mobility, strength stretch, and conditioning, Sean has created an upbeat, unique class ‘pumping up’ some of Lanita’s core MIMSY asanas. Grounding, stretching, and strengthening practices are offered with a focus on safety and listening to your body.

When Sean is not teaching for AGW, he is doing personal one-on-one fitness and lifestyle coaching, or teaching group cross-fit. He is San Diego-based and is available for in-person or ZOOM private sessions and personal coaching.
